Renowned children’s musician Chris Ballew, AKA Caspar Babypants, has always found joy in singing fun, whimsical songs. But he never expected a call from our local Make-A-Wish office asking for his help to make a young girl’s wish come true.
When Chris learned about six-year-old Lucy’s wish to share her music with the world, he had to be part of it.

I love collaborating with inspired people, and Lucy is inspired.”

Wishes wouldn’t be possible without the help of people like Chris and you. Right now, more than 500 kids like Lucy are waiting for a wish. And that’s just the beginning. One in five kids are not being referred to our program because they don’t know about us.
Two years ago, there were days when wish mom Jean couldn’t imagine bringing her son Jonathan to a 5K walk. Treatment for chronic myeloid leukemia had drained him of his energy and spirit.
But, this past September on a sunny morning, Jean saw a very different side of her son and so did the more than 700 people who showed up in support of kids like him at the Walk For Wishes®.
Together, you raised more than $175,000 to grant wishes for more local kids like Jonathan, who received his wish to go to New York City.
But, there is still more work to be done. Please make a donation today so we can meet our Walk fundraising goal of $240,000.
